While I was in Ithaca, we spent an afternoon doing some shopping. We stumbled into a shop called Sew Green and I fell in love. The shop was nonprofit, and everything in it had been donated. There was fabric, yarn, all sorts of needles, lace, zippers, along with everything else that makes a textile artists heart beat faster. This place was amazing with amazing prices. I purchased some yarn, an afgan hook, and a hook for making hooked rugs ( something that I want to learn)
This store is a great place for crafters to clean out their studios, and share their unwanted supplies with other makers. I wish that we had one of these closer to where I live.
