These things make me smile!

Other than weaving, there are many other things that I like to dabble in, here are a few. At work I recently began teaching wheel throwing, and I didn't realize how much I missed doing it. Here are a few of the mugs that I've made while demonstrating to the students.
                                                               


                                                             
As the weather gets warmer I'm riding my bike to work more often. Last night I went and purchased new lights and a new pump. It is dark in the morning when I leave for work, so I like to have a lot of lights to be sure that people can easily see me. I know that when I"m driving to work in the morning I"m not always supper alert.

                                               
                                               

My weaving seems to be taking a slightly different direction these days. I'm weaving, then cutting into the weaving and sewing in pieces of fabric. I made this one as a scarf, but I'm thinking that these would make pretty cool table runners! I haven't totally figured out the process yet, but I"m getting closer.
