Nest Enameled Charm Bracelet Class with Jean Van Brederode

Jean Van Brederode will be teaching her new "Nest Enameled Charm Bracelet" class at both VA and Portland Art & Soul in 2012, and  needs your help :-))) She would like to hold a preview (test) class to make the pictured bracelet (below) from 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2011. Jean needs to charge $20 for materials, but no class fee, and she needs to limit the class to ten students. All materials will be provided and each student will leave with a finished bracelet in your choice of colors. Tools required are listed below - bring what you can. jean has extras of everything to share!

chain nosed pliers

round nosed pliers

ball peen hammer

dapping block

disk cutter

various size hole punches for metal

small metal files

old wash cloth to fold and use under small provided pounding block



The class will do some basic metal-working and also torch and kiln enameling. No experience necessary (really!).



Jean also asks everyone to bring a lunch goodie to share. She'll provide pizza. We'll break for lunch from 12:30 to 1:30.

Jean will keep track of those who respond and let you know if/when the class is full.
