All of my work is created by hand with materials bought locally. I mainly work with weaving textiles, but often add machine or hand sewing for detail. I am extremely connected to process, and enjoy the discovery of what the piece turns into as the maker and the material work together to create a finished work of art.
I am a full time high school art teacher, and spend most of my free time working in my studio creating. I think that as an art teacher it is extremely important to also be a working artist, and share the process with your students. Pin It
