Peca

Our sweet dog Peca, had to get a growth removed from her leg yesterday. She's 8 years old, but still pretty full of energy, she loves going for walks, and most of all loves guarding our cat Velo all day long. She really spends the whole day watching that cat. However, in order for her leg to heal, she isn't allowed to steps, can't go for walks, and isn't allowed to run, so we have her seperated from the cat. She just doesn't seem to know what to do with herself. Plus she was sent home wearing one of those lovely cones to keep her from picking at her stitches, she just walks around the house running into things, and spilling her water dish as she tries to take a drink. I feel really bad for her, as it doesn't look like fun, and I'm sure that she has no clue as to what is being done to her.
