A little bit about the artist:
Open a middle ages compendium in which characters would be real or fabled animals, then have a look inside the “Cabinet of natural curiosities” by a certain Albertus, now add some wonderful and poetic roses, iris or anemones plate drawn by the great Pierre-Joseph Redouté.
Shake it, open and let’s see what happens …
Feathers drawn with a stroke of a brush or palms painted on silk, scales and metal leaves or more leather petals, golden pistils, maybe just simple embroidered tentacles …
