Viking Knit Necklace

I taught myself how to make a viking knit chain so that I could teach it to my students. It took me awhile to figure out how to get it started, but once I got going, it was pretty easy. I just made this double strand necklace a few days ago. These are really fun to make and even more fun to ware. They are great just as a chain or wonderful to attach a pretty pendant to. What have you learned how to make recently?
