Spending Saturday and Sunday weaving is my perfect weekend. I pop a DVD into my computer, have all the yarn needed within arms reach and begin pressing the treadles and sending the shuttle flying, anxiously awaiting the colorful yards of fabric. Once off of the loom I must determine how I want to complete the piece. Alterations are made, than I drape the luscious fabric around my neck, look into the mirror and debate if the piece is complete. As soon as one is finished I can barely wait to start the next. Unfortunately sleep is calling, so I will go and dream of weaving until I can once again sit behind the loom.
