Originally uploaded by Amber KaneNutella Pound Cake, I haven't gotten to try this yet, but can't wait. This past summer my husband, brother, a friend, and I traveled to France, and followed the bike race. Our friend Kenny , fell in love with Nutella on the trip. So in honor of Kenny, whom, we are going skiing with this weekend, my husband made him this Nutella Pound Cake.
Ingredients
3 eggs
1 cup sugar
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
200 grams butter 1 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
1 teaspoon baking powder
small pinch of salt
200 grams Nutella
Directions Preheat the oven to 325 F (160 C). In a bowl, using a mixer, beat the butter with the sugar until fluffy. In separate bowl beat eggs until pale and gradually add them to butter mixture and continue to beat 2-3 minutes more. Add vanilla extract In separate bowl sift flour with baking powder and salt. Add the flour mixture in 3 batches to eggs and butter, stirring between additions until just incorporated. Lightly grease and flour a 10-by-4-inch loaf pan, tapping out any excess flour. Spread half of the batter in the prepared pan, then spread the Nutella on top. Top with the remaining batter. Lightly swirl the Nutella into the batter with a butter knife. Do not overmix. Bake the cake for about 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Originally uploaded by Amber KaneMy husband is a wonderful cook, and does all of the cooking, which is a good thing as I am not much for following recipies. His favorite thing to do is bake, which is dangerous for me, as I have quiet a sweet tooth, but I don't complain. Here photos of his latest creations.
To get serving dishes like these go to your nearest Bed Bath & Beyond. They are jiggers, used for mixing drinks, so don't look for actual ice cream dishes.

Check out my most recent etsy purchase. My husband loves plants and is hard to shop for, when I saw this I thought it may be something he would actually like. It's a mini hanging terrarium. This lovely little find is now hanging in kitchen, this is such a great way to bring plants into your home and have them look stylish at the same time. Here's a link to the shop that I bought this one from, go and get one of your own!

Velo found her Christmas spirit today. I was determined to get her hanging in one of the stockings, I don't think it was her favorite activity, but she didn't seem to mind too much. After finishing her stocking photo shot, she selected to get more comfortable, and wear her handwoven christmas scarf.
